Upcoming Features

We plan to expand Wheel-A-Way with several new features with future updates that strengthen both the gameplay experience and the project’s accessibility-focused message. Below is a complete list of our current to-do list

• More Accessibility-related environmental barriers: We plan to introduce more real life annoyances wheelchair users face, such as, small floor bumps, carpeted areas, uphill roads, getting on a bus, etc.
• Wheelchair upgrades: Upgrades to the wheelchair that could help the player overcome certain obstacles, access new areas, or solve puzzles in different ways.
• Better visual cues and in-game hints to guide users
• UI to prevent users from standing up and cheating the game
• UI overlay option to reduce motion-sickness
• More levels!
